DC Concerts got its start in 1998 promoting select genres of mainstream artists performing Pop, Country, Classic Rock and R&B music. Soon promoted artists included a select few from the fast growing Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) market.
Not even a decade later, the surge in demand for Christian Entertainment drove the company to focus on the CCM market. Soon propelled to the forefront as top genre promoter for the Metro DC region, the new company, DC Concert Ministries, was born.

Gone are the days where CCM shows could only sell a few hundred seats per show. DC Concert Ministries now requires venues with no fewer than 1,000 seats and often requiring seating for more than 22,000 excited fans.
To meet these requirements, we've forged ongoing and flexible working relationships with venues of all types and sizes over the years. Our venue roster includes arenas, civic centers, convention centers, theatres, outdoor amphitheaters, and fair grounds, as well as unique halls and showplaces such at large churches and music centers.

Our marketing and promotions engine never stops. While we work tirelessly to market and sell out every event we produce, we're also working to develop DC Concert Ministries as a brand unto itself. That way, whenever someone sees a DC Concert Ministries branded event, they'll immediately visualize a stellar experience and will be driven to attend - and bring their friends and family along for the ride!
Our outreach in the physical world is achieved through local churches, community groups, schools and traditional media outlets such as magazines, newspapers and radio stations.
Our core event marketing, as well as our brand marketing, efforts are achieved digitally through our owned media properties including this website, branded merchandise sales, original content, our social media properties such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, and our proprietary digital marketing lists.
For event marketing, we purchase digital advertising on social platforms and paid networks, while ticket sales are managed through several outlets dependent on each event's unique requirements.
Our biggest branded event, DC Fest Christian Music Festival, has gained industry attention and fame among audiences - many that travel across states - to attend this blow out festival each year.
